Over 75 years after the ship, HMT Empire Windrush's arrival, descendants of these immigrants are tracing their roots. This presentation examines the policies that brought over 500,000 immigrants to Britain, offering promises of a better life that often fell short. We will also discuss the 2010 Windrush Scandal, which left many without documentation, leading to wrongful deportations.
