Virtual Tour of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center 

Artist and author Joyce Raimondo leads a virtual tour of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center, a National Historic Landmark site that preserves the environment that inspired two of America's foremost abstract expressionist painters, Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. Tour the former home and studio, which contains evidence of their creative processes.

Joyce Raimondo is the author of seven children's art books, including The Museum of Modern Art’s popular Art Safari series and the award-winning Art Explorers books. A painter and sculptor, her illustrations have been published in the New York Times, Boston Globe, and numerous publications. Former Family Programs Coordinator at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, she is a leading expert in museum education. She has made television appearances on Blues’ Clues’, NBC News, and CBS Sunday Morning News. As Founding Director of Imagine That! Art Education, her programs have served thousands of children, teenagers and adults from New York to California. Joyce is also the Education Coordinator at the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center.

The North Shore Programming Consortium consists of six local libraries (Bayville, Glen Cove, Gold Coast, Locust Valley, Oyster Bay and Sea Cliff) that have come together to bring our patrons more of a variety in adult programming in a more cost effective way.
