World War II was a time with no shortage of heroic women both on and off the battlefield.Explore the stories of several of these women.

Howard Rosenberg is a professional educator with 20 years experience teaching American History. He has presented numerous Unsung Hero lectures to audiences at public libraries and assisted living facilities on Long Island.
