Join librarian and historian, Jim Ward, to learn the history of the ill-fated ship from its construction through its maiden voyage and discovery at the bottom of the Atlantic in 1985. The legacy and continued interest in the Titanic will also be explored in this lecture.

Jim Ward has been a librarian for 19 years and an avid history fan for even longer. His degrees in history and library and information science have given him the tools to pursue factual, evidence-based information about fascinating historical events. He brings his passion for the past to every lecture.
