Italian- Americans: It has been said that Joe DiMaggio and Frank Sinatra probably did more than anyone else of their time to bring Italian- Americans into the mainstreeam of their country's popular culture during the 1930s and 1940s. Since then , there have been thouuuuuuusands of Italian- Americans who flourished in America. Baseball players, actors, singers who in some cases changed American culture.

Evan Weiner began his career as a sports commentator at age 15, and continues to cover the politics and business of sports industries. He has appeared on MSNBC, NewsMax, ABC, and writes for The Guardian. He has written 8 books, hosts a daily podcast called “The Politics of Sports Business,” and is a frequent college speaker. In 2010 he won the Ronald Reagan Media Award from the United States Sports Academy.
