Event Details

Theater enthusiast Brian Stoll will discuss all things Broadway beginning with the history and importance of the Broadway Playbill as well as touch upon some of the reasons why audience members choose to collect these memorable theatre keepsakes. Lastly, Brian will share a variety of money-saving tips on how to see Broadway shows for under $60.00 a ticket!

As a theatre enthusiast from West Islip, NY, I have attended over 360 Broadway performances since graduating from Binghamton University in 2011. I present a "Broadway on a Budget" program at libraries across the tri-state area with the goal of encouraging patrons to support the arts and take advantage of their proximity to Broadway. During the program, I share money-saving tips on how to attend a Broadway show for under $60 a ticket, as well as the history and importance of the Broadway Playbill. My passion for Broadway has been featured twice in Newsday (attachments included), on television (PIX11 News / News 12 / Town of Islip), and on the radio (Jamie & You / The Anna & Raven Show). Additionally, I have had a piece published on the Greater Long Island website.
