Basic Sewing Class

Simple Sewing Repairs

Class will cover a couple of basic hand-sewing stitches, and techniques for re-attaching buttons, closing an open seam, and (if there is time) fixing a fallen hem. Each student will have the opportunity to make a small pin-cushion or needle-book using the stitches being taught.
If you have items that need buttons reattached, feel free to bring them along for practice, otherwise, sample materials will be provided to work on.
